Gen set is one of the largest manufacturers of engine driven welders and generating sets.
It was found in 1974 it gradually enlarged its range of products and extended its business throughout the world. The production facilities are located in Villanova d`Ardenghi, and cover an area of more than 35,000 square meters.
The high quality of the product has its origins in industrial processes arising from research and development. The progress made in this sphere has led the company to register numerous international patents, demonstrating the level of innovation achieved. Gen Set also constructs all the components needed for the manufacturing of its machines, thereby implementing the entire production cycle in-house. This allows direct control of the quality to be carried out and provides increased production flexibility.

In the factory at Villanova d`Ardenghi the company also designs and makes the asynchronous alternators that are installed both on the engine driven welders and on the generating sets. The coating division is one of the most advanced and permits the application of coatings with special systems aimed at providing a lasting finish. The bodywork and the chassis are made with automated machines, which automatically carry out any kind of process with great accuracy.
The company has UNI EN ISO 9001 – 2000. Quality system certification and implements its standards in all its activities, from design to production, from purchase to sales. Each model is tested unit it is fully ready to run when it is delivered. The company’s international success is also due to the technical assistance that is readily available in every corner of the world. Gen Set, through its sales network is present in 1,200 sales outlets in Italy and in over 60 countries worldwide.
